Foundation to Award $4.45 Million
The DentaQuest Foundation through their Innovation Fund for Oral Health is planning to award up to $4.5 million in grants in 2013. Since 2000, the Foundation has provided over $30 million in grants and program support. Rural Practice Adopts EHR

Agencies Award $100,000 to Team
A team effort developed a personal portable and wearable air pollution sensor under the “My Air, My Health Challenge” and received $100,000 for their Conscious Clothing system at the Health Datapalooza event on June 4th. Legislation Introduced on the Hill
On May 28th, the House Energy and Commerce Committee unveiled draft legislation to repeal the current Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) system and replace it with a stable system of physician payment in the Medicare program.
