Grants included in Legislation

Congressman Chris Collins from New York and Congressman Derek Kilmer from Washington co-sponsored bipartisan legislation to help scientists commercialize their ideas. As Collins reports, “This legislation addresses what we have heard time and time again called the “Valley of Death” where innovative new ideas die because there is no path to commercialization. UNC and SAS Join Forces

The University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine at www.med.unc.edu and SAS at www.sas.com have joined forces to work on a multi-year collaboration to develop analytics driven population health management capabilities to help providers personalize care delivery for patients with Type 2 diabetes.
