Trial for Patients with ADHD

A clinical trial sponsored by the University of California Los Angeles is studying whether smartphones can be used help children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The study will look at whether it is feasible and acceptable for parents to receive reminders for clinic visits and ADHD medications and then enter daily ratings of their child’s ADHD symptoms and possible medication side effects into a smartphone. Marketing Robot Device in Europe

Medrobotics Corp. is going to begin limited marketing in Europe of a robot-assisted surgical device based on snake robot research performed at Carnegie Mellon University. NY’s Southern Tier Seeks Proposals

The Regional Economic Development Council of New York’s Southern Tier wants to receive proposals. Funding for $2,125,000 is going to be available through the Southern Tier’s “Telemedicine and Mobile Health Care Technology Fund” to support expanding rural healthcare using appropriate technologies.
