At the age of three a young boy with mild developmental delays and physical characteristics with a large body and large head circumference came to Duke University School of Medicine to be diagnosed. A genetic analysis showed mutation of a specific gene, known as ASCL2 which had never been singled out as causing disease. (more…)

Solutions to Fighting Malaria

According to reports, the fight to eliminate malaria is going to require surveillance to be the backbone to effectively fight the disease.
