The team from the Harvard John A. Controlling the Spread of Infections
CDC https://www.cdc.gov reports that nearly one million Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) occur annually and many of the 100,000 associated deaths occur in patients with compromised immune systems. While there are signs of a downward trend in the infection rate as hospitals adopt new protocols, these infections continue to represent a significant and preventable burden. (more…)
Governor Signs Executive Order

The Colorado Health Access (CHA) Fund managed by the Denver Foundation is improving health outcomes and increasing access to behavioral healthcare for underserved populations in the state. Approximately 700,000 people in Missouri have diabetes which is 13.2 percent of the adult population, according to the “2019 Missouri Diabetes Report” submitted to the General Assembly.
