HHSentrepreneurs Seeks Applicants

The HHSentrepreneurs program connects private sector innovators and entrepreneurs with teams of federal employees to address challenges in health, healthcare, and human services. The first group of six individuals from a field of more than 100 candidates hired last October through the program are now working on four projects that involve health resilience technology and the U.S. organ transplant system. Pioneering Program Integrates Data

The Center for Connected Health, a division of Partners HealthCare has launched a pioneering program to support a redesigned care delivery system. Patient data collected at home such as vital signs including blood pressure, weight, and blood glucose is transmitted electronically. The vital signs are viewable through the Partners HealthCare medical records system with the data accessible within the established clinical workflow. (more…)

The Missing Link: Nurse Informatician

Lt. Col. Myong Woo is the first Army nurse informatician in theater to provide quality assurance for nurses, commanders, and health services systems management personnel.
