Technology to Help Home Healthcare
CareCentrix https://www.carecentrix.com headquartered in Hartford Connecticut, announced that they are extending their advanced home technology package. The package includes how to provide telehealth, care collaboration, and home monitoring tools at no cost. Their 8,000 home health agencies are managing 26 million to help meet the immediate needs related to COVID-19. The home telehealth platform will enable agencies to better manage, monitor, and care for patients in their homes rather than in hospitals and sub-acute facilities. (more…)
CDC Funds to Help Indian Tribes
On April 1, 2020, CDC announced a new, non-competitive grant to award at least $40,000,000 to help strengthen the tribal public health system, organizations, urban Indian Health organizations, or health service providers in response to the COVID-19 emergency. CMS Actions to Promote Telehealth
On March 31, 2020, CMS https://www.cms.gov released actions to further promote telehealth in Medicare. CMS is building on prior actions to expand reimbursement for telehealth services to Medicare beneficiaries.
