2014 MATRC Summit: Save the Date

The 2014 Mid Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center Annual Summit (MATRC) will be held at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center in Fredericksburg Virginia on March 30-April 1, 2014.

The Summit will examine the ways that telehealth adds value to patients, practitioners, hospitals, health systems, and other facilities. Opportunities exist for organizations and companies to promote their business and services at the Summit.

Aneesch Chopra, Former U.S. Chief Technology Officer and Virginia Secretary of Technology, and Senior Advisor to the Advisory Board Company has been invited to speak at the luncheon to be held on Monday March 31, 2013.

Participants will explore the concept of “value-added” through a highly interactive program that is built around the case history of “Mr. Doe” as he meanders through the primary care inpatient hospitalization, and post-discharge environs.

Other topics include:

  • Telehealth in the Post-Discharge Environment
  • Telehealth in the Inpatient Environment
  • State meetings with Delaware, D.C, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia
  • Telehealth in the Primary Care Environment

The Summit will conclude with a session on financial and business models for providing sustainable telehealth services.
