In addition, clinically trained pharmacists frequently pursue rigorous board certifications in pharmacotherapy, ambulatory care, diabetes management, plus others specialties. Alabama’s Medicaid Actions

The Alabama Medicaid Agency submitted a report on May 13, 2014 seeking approval for a Section 1115 Demonstration Project from CMS. The report, discusses how Alabama’s Medicaid program serving 999,561 enrollees and providing healthcare to 47 percent of the children in the state. (more…)

D2PA Funding Tele-Genomics Program

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, reports that the Geisinger Genomics Medicine Center part of the Geisinger family is going to receive $100,000 from the “Discovered in PA-Developed in PA” (D2PA) program to help build the infrastructure for a state-of-the-art tele-genomics facility to be located in the Wilkes-Barre area.
