GPT Announces Grant Recipients
The Georgia Partnership for TeleHealth (GPT) www.gatelehealth.org a nonprofit promoting telemedicine programs in communities throughout Georgia, just announced that eight Georgia schools have been awarded grants through the 2015 Rural School-Based Telehealth Center Initiative. The plan is to develop and implement a telehealth program at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year. (more…)

Teaching IBM’s Watson to See
IBM’s Watson technology will be able to see by combining Watson’s advanced image analytics and cognitive capabilities with data and images obtained from Merge Healthcare’s medical imaging management platform. Patients to Receive Genetic Information
The Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) www.airforcemedicine.af.mil has partnered with the Coriell Institute for Medical Research www.usaf.coriell.org located in Camden New Jersey to prepare the medical community for the integration of genomic medicine.
