Grant Program Accepting Applications

Licensure portability goes beyond improving the efficiency and effectiveness of electronic practice services. Overcoming unnecessary licensure barriers to cross-State practices is seen as a strategy to expedite the mobility of health professionals. This is important since there is an increasing shortages of healthcare professionals in rural and other areas that has increased the demand for healthcare services. (more…)

SAMHSA Funding National Network

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMSHA) www.samhsa.gov within HHS is accepting applications for FY 2016 for up to $30 million to provide grant funding for a National Center for Child Traumatic Stress (NCCTS). The anticipated total funding for the Funding Opportunity Announcement (SM-16-003) is $6,000,000 for one award for a project estimated to last five years.   (more…)
