Reading and diagnosing chest x-ray images may be a relatively simple task for radiologists, but in reality, it is often a complex reasoning problem which often requires careful observation and knowledge of anatomical principles, physiology, and pathology. Medical Device to Determine TBIs

Neuro Kinetics, Inc. (NKI) www.neuro-kinetics.com located in Pennsylvania has developed a device called the “I-Portal Portable Assessment System” (I-PAS) designed to diagnose concussions at the early stage by accurately using a virtual-reality headset to assess brain injuries. I-PAS has received financial support from both the Department of Defense (DOD) and the National Football League and is currently testing the device at a number of military facilities.  (more…)

FCC Chairman Speaks at Conference

FCC Chairman Ajit Pai speaking recently at the Mobile World Congress Americas in San Francisco, discussed the importance of wireless phones in times of disaster, the road to 5G, U.S and the big increase in mobile penetration, but he also discussed the lack of wireless service in many rural areas.
