HHS Requests Innovative Solutions

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) https://www.hhs.gov/ash/index.html within HHS in partnership with other federal agencies, seeks to gain a more comprehensive understanding from health systems, community based organizations, academic institution, non-federal government agencies, innovators, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, and other relevant stakeholders regarding innovative solutions.

Information appearing in the November 17, Federal Register on page 73280, announced that OASH seeks ideas to manage chronic diseases by leveraging novel technologies, and how to optimize compliance with evidence-based standards of care in disease that cause significant morbidity and mortality in aging populations in underserved areas.

OASH also seeks to identify opportunities to strengthen the U.S healthcare system, as a whole, through public-private partnerships in data sharing, comprehensive analytics including AI and other potential mechanisms.
