ImageMoverMD https://www.imagemovermd.com is a medical imaging software company able to connect photos, videos, and outside medical images with EHR systems. The company recently announced that they have raised $4 million in financing led by Bain Capital Ventures https://www.baincapitalventures.com, Cultivation Capital http://www.cultivationcapital.com, and Health X Ventures http://www.healthxventures.com, to grow their network of customers and to expand their technology offerings.
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has launched ImageMover’s Mobile solution to allow their providers to securely capture and store photos and videos using any iPhone or android device. The hospital will be adding ImageMover’s other tools shortly.
“The amount of frustration and wasted time dealing with medical images on CDs is still causing patients and providers is still causing problems”, according to Darcey Nett, CEO at ImageMoverMD. “We can now offer our uploader to health systems for free to help health systems take the first step to make CDs a thing of the past.”
According to Alexander Towbin, Associate Chief, Clinical Operations and Radiology Informatics at Children’s Hospital, “ImageMover’s implementation process and integration with our EHR has been easy and seamless.”
