Microsoft Corp, https://www.microsoft.com recently selected Numbers4Health, a start-up, https://numbers4health.com to be one of the winners of a “Microsoft Airband Grant” to expand their telehealth solution in rural Texas. Numbers4Health provides information and software to encourage the increased use of telehealth solutions to rural communities.
“Microsoft Airband Grants” support high potential early stage startups so they are able to create innovative new technologies, services, and business models. This year’s grantees will receive cash investments, access to technology, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
Another award winner Skylark Wireless https://www.skylarkwireless.com will be deploying their Massive MIMO Television White space (TVWS) platform in West Virginia to bring high-speed affordable broadband internet to the people in the state.
