Royal Philips www.philips.com has introduced their “IntelliSpace Portal 9.0” an advanced visual analysis and quantification platform. Featuring a suite of multi-modality functions and expanded neurological tools, the platform helps radiologists detect, diagnose, and follow-up on treating diseases while using new machine learning capabilities to support the physicians.
The solution addresses radiologists’ needs for tools to better support the growing group of patients with brain injuries and neurological disorders such as dementia, strokes, ALS, and multiple sclerosis.
In addition to several enhancements such as CT Brain Perfusion and MR T2 Perfusion, IntelliSpace Portal 9.0 will offer Longitudinal Brain Imaging. This application used for neuro reading will enable neurological disorders to be evaluated over time so clinicians can monitor disease progression.
CorTechs Labs www.cortechslabs.com developer of the medical device software NeuroQuant® is included in Philips IntelliSpace Portal 9.0 platform. The medical device software is able to make quantitative MRI measurements so clinicians can review, assess, and monitor brain structure volume over time and as a result, brain volume can be compared to age and gender-matched norms.
The IntelliSpace Portal 9.0 platform offers multimodality clinical applications that can be accessed from any point in the hospital network so information can be shared broadly. The solution can also integrate with typical PACS and hospital information systems. Using the platform, neurologists can use advanced analysis virtually anywhere across their organization while maintaining consistent applications and user preferences.
