InTouch Health www.intouchhealth.com has invested over $50 million into a cloud infrastructure. This scalable global telehealth platform includes seven U.S hosted data centers covering the Americas plus three additional locations in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
On June 13, 2016, it was announced that the company entered into a strategic collaboration with Intuitive Surgical, Inc. Intuitive Surgical and InTouch will jointly develop patient informatics solutions for Intuitive Surgical’s daVinci® Surgical System. This investment will enable the enhancement of InTouch’s telehealth cloud.
The collaboration will focus on developing new products to help deliver data to surgeons in the form of 3D reconstructions of anatomical structures. These jointly developed solutions will be delivered over the InTouch telehealth cloud and network infrastructure.
