DHS S&T Awards $2.9 Million
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) www.dhs.gov/science-and-technology has announced a $2.9 million cybersecurity “Mobile App Security (MAS) R&D” award to help identify mobile app vulnerabilities. Kryptowire, a small business based in Northern Virginia was awarded the 30 month contract through DHS S&T. (more…)

ONC Awards Grants
The HHS Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT has awarded more than $38 million to three health IT grant programs to 20 awardees to improve coordinated health information sharing. USDA Funding $85.8 Million for Broadband
USDA has just announced $74.8 million in Telecommunications Loans and $11 Million in Community Connects grants to increase broadband access for rural areas in seven states. The Telecomm loans provide financing for the construction, maintenance, improvement, and expansion of telephone and broadband services in rural areas. (more…)
