Sandia & UNM Studying Hikers Health
Hiking from one rim of the Grand Canyon to the other in one day requires motivated and resilient athletes. These athletes are now helping researchers at Sandia National Laboratories www.sandia.gov and the University of New Mexico (UNM) www.unm.edu collect and study biometric data. USDA’s Progress in Rural Areas
According to the “2016 USDA Rural Development Progress Report”, USDA’s Distance Learning and Telemedicine (DLT) program helps rural communities improve their access to healthcare and educational services.
