According to a study in the “Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment”, the average physician with a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine is currently treating only 26 patients for opioid addiction and some waivered physicians are not treating patients at all for addiction. (more…)

On June 21, 2017, CDC www.cdc.gov posted a Notice for a Forecasted Funding Opportunity titled “Cooperative Agreement for Emergency Response Public Health Crisis Response” (CDC-RFA-TP17-1703) https://www.grants.gov/custom/printForecastDetails.jsp.
