Grants Awards to Help in Midwest
The American Heart Association www.heart.org and the American Stroke Association www.strokeassociation.org/STROKEORG recently committed $5.6 million for the Mission: Lifeline Stroke Initiative to expand and improve stroke care in North Dakota. EMR System Moves to the Cloud
The University of California San Diego Health https://health.ucsd.edu has moved their EMR system to an Epic-hosted cloud environment. So far, the information services team has moved about 10,000 workstations at UC San Diego Health to this virtual delivery method enabling users to access their EMR via the cloud. They have also integrated over a hundred third-party applications that work with Epic within the new cloud environment. (more…)
