NIH Launches Data Portal for PD

The “Accelerating Medicines Partnership (AMP) program for Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a joint venture between NIH, FDA, industry partners (Celgene, GSK, Pfizer, Sanofi, and Verily),  and one non-profit organization (The Michael J. Strengthening Patient Safety

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) https://whitehouse.senate.gov has introduced “The Patient Safety Improvement Act”. Portugal Seeks Medical Tech

Market research from the International Trade Administration   https://www.trade.gov/research-country, shows that over 8% of medical equipment expenditures in Portugal are made by the public sector while 20% of sales are made to the private sector. The market for medical equipment has improved in recent years and is expected to increase opportunities for exporters in the U.S.
