Microsoft & Truveta Now Partners

Microsoft https://www.microsoft.com and Truveta https://www.truveta.com, recently announced that a partnership was initiated to apply the power of Microsoft Azure and AI to help Truveta create the world’s largest de-identified health data platform.

Truveta is the first health provider-led data platform owned and governed by 17 leading health providers in the U.S. Providence, Novant Health, Northwell Health, and Trinity Health have selected Microsoft Azure as their exclusive cloud platform.

Truveta’s data platform used by their 17 health provider members cares for tens of millions of people and operates thousands of care facilities in 40 states. The platform leverages the power of Azure and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to include insights from billions of de-identified data points, including medical records, images, and genomics. Applying AI to health data will accelerate the pace of human learning into real time learning which the world needs.

The Truveta platform on Azure will initially represent more than 15% of all clinical care in the U.S and billions of data points, which will create the world’s largest de-identified health data platform

Microsoft and Truveta will work together to scale the Truveta platform globally by introducing  new customers to Truveta and accelerating opportunities for more health providers to become members. Truveta will also become a Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare partner and enable Microsoft to strengthen their own offerings for healthcare customers.

Microsoft will help Truveta bring their platform to market globally to enable researchers to share health knowledge with everyone. As a Microsoft partner, the Truveta platform will be integrated into Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare, unlocking new insights for precision medicine and clinical analytics from the world’s largest de-identified health dataset.
