HRSA has posted the grant notice titled Information Services to Rural Hospitals Flexibility Grantees (HRSA-22-062) with estimated funding to be $1,000,000.
The grant notice is expected to be posted November 30, 2021, with the estimated application due date to be February 1, 2022. The purpose of the program is to improve quality and financial visibility in rural communities by providing technical assistance to beneficiaries of the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) initiatives.
The initiatives include:
- Award recipients
- Critical Access Hospitals
- Small rural hospitals
- Rural health networks
Assistance will be provided in areas such as:
- Quality improvement
- Quality reporting
- Performance improvements and benchmarking
- Community engagement and population health
- Provision of rural emergency medical services
- Building capacity to participates in alternative payment models
Eligible applicants can include nonprofits, state, county, and city governments, for profits, small businesses, Native American tribal organizations, and public, state, and private institutions of higher education.
