GSA Awards GWAC III Contract

GSA’s 8(a) STARS GWACs have a long standing partnership with SBA to support 8(a) firms and also provide a way for federal agencies to deliver critical IT services while working with small, disadvantaged businesses.

GSA https://www.gsa.gov, has awarded the first phase of the new 8(a) STARS III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) with a ceiling of $50 billion to be used to purchase IT services from 8(a) prime contractors.

“The 8(a) STARS GWAC program is an opportunity for small, disadvantaged firms to compete within the federal marketplace and gain experience in how to navigate agency requirements,” said GSA Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Associate Administrator, Exodie C. Roe, III.

The new STARS GWAC is going to focus on meeting GSA’s needs for emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, robotic process automation and more.
