HRSA’s Grant Forecast Notice

On June 25, 2021, HRSA https://www.hrsa.gov, posted the forecasted grant notice Rural Health Network Developmental Planning Grant (HRSA-22-059) with estimated funding of $2,000,000.

The purpose of the grant funding is to support one year of planning to develop and assist integrated healthcare networks in becoming operational.

The goal of the Network Planning Grant Program is to enable integrated healthcare networks to:

  •  Achieve efficiencies
  • Expand access to coordinate, and improve the quality of basic healthcare services
  • Strengthen the rural healthcare system as a whole

 

The program brings together key parts of a rural healthcare delivery system, particularly those entities that may not have collaborated in the past. The plan is to work together to establish or improve local capacity and coordination of care.

Eligible applicants may include state, county, and city or township governments, Native American tribal organizations, for profit organizations, nonprofits, public, private and state institutions of higher education, and small businesses.

The estimated post date is expected to be October 29, 2021, applications are due January 28, 2022, and the estimated project start date is July 1, 2022.
