CMS https://www.cms.gov awarded Halfaker and Associates LLC https://www.halfaker.com a three year contract for $18 million for Cloud Security Operations and Maintenance (Cloud SecOps). Halfaker is, a technology solutions provider within the Federal government’s health, intelligence, defense, and security sectors.
For the duration of the contract, Halfaker will provide CMS with innovative security services and engineering to improve CMS’s cloud security posture and strengthen the agency’s mission to effectively administer national healthcare programs and services.
Under this contract, Halfaker will adopt the CMS Cloud Smart strategy to leverage modern cloud-based technologies to further advance cloud service delivery to center around self-service, automation, and human centered design.
Collaborating with CMS Cloud Navigator Services and Cloud IT Operations contractors, Halfaker will use their cloud-based cybersecurity expertise to support AWS and Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms, to deliver secure, reliable services, and facilitate the adoption of standardization and reusable tools.
Additional recent project award awards to Halfaker includes a ten year Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners (CIO-SP3) Small Business contract from the NIH Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), a Department of Veterans Affairs Enterprise Services Integrated Platform Systems contract, and a contract within HHS to do software development.
