VA Awards Philips 10 Year Contract

The Department of Veterans Affairs https://www.va.gov just awarded a ten-year contract which will enable the VA to invest up to $100 million with Royal Philips https://philips.com to expand the VA’s tele-critical care technology and services.

Philips is the global leader in centralized eICU. More than 20% of U.S. adult ICU beds and 1 in 8 adult ICU patients are monitored by a 24/7 continuous demand model powered by the eICU program. The eICU program combines A/V technology, predictive analytics, data visualization, and advance reporting capabilities.

The Philips eCare Manager software uses advanced analytics and AI to synthesize patient data and delivers actionable insights to support proactive care in coordination with onsite staff.
