Senator Rosen said, “I’m glad to see the funds go towards providing much needed resources in Nevada’s rural communities. I will continue to work to support investments in our state, and programs like telehealth that will be used to improve Nevadans” access to care.”

The grant funding will be used to install video interactive equipment at four locations to aid in opioid prevention, treatment, and recovery through telecommunication-enabled equipment and other advanced technologies for students, teachers, medical professionals and rural residents. The services will be available to over 10,000 Nevadans in these locations.
