HRSA https://www.hrsa.gov posted the forecasted grant notice (HRSA-19-017) on August 3, 2018 by releasing HRSA’s “Delta States Rural Development Network Program” opportunity notice anticipated to be posted January 24, 2019 with total program funding anticipated to be $9,600,000.
The Delta Program provides resources to help rural communities develop partnerships to jointly address health problems that cannot be solved by single entities working alone. The Delta Program funds organizations located in eight Delta States that will be able to plan and implement integrated healthcare networks.
The forecasted grant notice expects the Delta Program to achieve efficiencies by expanding access and improving the quality of essential healthcare services. The main goal is to strengthen the rural healthcare system as a whole.
Eligible applicants can include rural public or rural nonprofit private entities. Applicants should represent a network composed of participants including three or more healthcare providers such as a hospital, clinic, behavioral health or others outside of the clinical care environment. Faith-based and community-based organizations are also eligible to apply for the grant award.
The estimated synopsis post date is January 24, 2019 with the estimated project start date to be August 1, 2019.
