DHA Awards $8.6 Million to DCCA

The Defense Health Agency https://www.health.mil/dha awarded Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA) https://www.dcca.ocm, a veteran-owned information technology and engineering services company, a contract for $8.6 million. The goal is to provide support services to DHA’s Electronic Commerce System (ECS) which in turn, will support TRICARE the healthcare program of the Department of Defense.

DHA is accountable for the management and operation of the TRICARE program which includes active duty and retired military personnel plus other uniformed service personnel and their dependents.

ECS provides financial management, acquisition support, manages contracts, and contract operations applications to support TRICARE’s procure-to-pay, budget-to-budget reports, and order-to-cash processes.

DCCA will maintain and operate ECS and provide a wide-range of engineering and technical supports for the DHA ECS software applications and databases. In addition, DCCA will provide cybersecurity services.

DCCA Chief Executive Officer, David W. Bower said, “Ultimately, it is my hope that our technical support of the Enterprise Information Technology system will increase efficiencies which is vital to TRICARE functions.”
