GSA’s Technology Modernization Fund Program Management Office (TMF PMO) and GSA’s Emerging Citizen Technology Office (ECTO) are partnering to help agencies advance in modernizing efforts related to technologies.
GSA is going to seek submissions from federal agencies that wish to tap into the initial $100 million TMF program if they wish to replace legacy systems and deliver on the potential and promise of IT modernization.
The workshop “Funding the Future: Emerging Technologies for Federal IT Modernization” will be hosted at GSA on June 8, 2018. The workshop’s goal is to help agencies develop proposals bases on financial, technical, and operational criteria.
In addition, the Emerging Citizen Technology Office (ECTO) in an effort to move technology forward is going to collaborate with the private sector to spur competition and open public services to new solutions. ECTO consults with private sector innovators to help identify new capabilities and evaluate their practical applications in public services.
