DHA to Contract Through GWAC

The Defense Health Agency www.health.mil/dha announced that the agency will contract all $1 billion of the agency’s health IT needs along with follow-up contracts and task orders through the General Services Administration’s (GSA) www.gsa.gov  “Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts” (GWAC). www.gsa.gov/portal/content/104874#benefits contracting program.

In other news, GSA www.gsa.gov/portal/content/251359, is going to create the “Technology Transformation Service” with the goal to establish a permanent home for innovation and technology modernization inside GSA. By creating the Technology Transformation Service, GSA will be able to help partner agencies build, buy, share technology, and provide GSA with a platform to develop future emerging technologies.
