RWJF Issues RFP for Studies

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) www.rwjf.org issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for studies to identify system innovations aimed at improving the reach, quality, efficiency, and equity of health services. This is important particularly as collaboration and integration is needed among healthcare and other systems affecting healthcare such as transportation, education, and urban design.

RWJF’s Systems for Action (S4A) a national program of the RWJF, is studying novel ways to align the delivery and financing systems to support RWJF’s Culture of Health initiative.

Funding will be provided for up to six S4A studies for up to $250,000. The winning teams will be expected to distribute their grant resources in productive and equitable ways among partnering institutions and collaborating investigators.

Study teams will be expected to work closely with the National Coordinating Center and RWJF to disseminate and translate findings to users and will be encouraged to leverage resources from other sources to support both research and engagement activities.

Applicants must be either a public entity or nonprofit organization and must be based in the U.S or territories. The Foundation will host an informational webinar for applicants on December 18, 2015 at 1pm EST.

Letters of intent must be received no later than January 12, 2016, full proposals are invited mid- February 2016 and Deadline for invited full proposals is March 11, 2016. For more information, email Lizeth Fowler at systemforaction@uky.edu.
