Subcontractor to Provide EHR

Clinovations GovHealth www.GovHealth.com in delivering technology services announced that the company as part of the Leidos Partnership for Defense Health http://leidosdefensehealth.com  team was awarded a subcontract by the Department of Defense www.defense.gov to provide an EHR for the military. The team solution will include an off-the-shelf EHR with the associated services needed to deploy the EHR across the Military Health System www.health.mil.

The contract known as the Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) www.health.mil/dhms is an initiative designed to modernize the military’s healthcare system. The objective is to enable patients and clinicians to capture and share health data that can improve the continuity and quality of care.

Clinovations GovHealth a Small Business Partner on the Leidos partnership will support the DHMSM program as part of the Leidos team, provide training and go-live support for the EHR. Specifically, the company will provide clinicians, nurses, clinical advisors, and clinically-trained technical personnel to help the delivery team ensure the resulting solutions is finely tuned for the military’s medical environment.
