The Department of Corrections (DOC) within the Agency of Human Services (AHS) in the state of Vermont, is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide a range of health services for inmates at its correctional facilities. The RFP is titled “Comprehensive Healthcare Services for Inmates” and will run from February 1, 2015 through January 31 2016.
The bid amount needs to include a bid amount to cover implementation and subsequent use of a EHR sufficient to meet the needs of the DOC to provide care coordination and linkages on behalf of the inmates.
This must apply during transition of care including but not limited to interstate and intrastate transfers, reentry in the community and re-admission to DOC. The Department is seeking bidders who are committed to working with other AHS departments and community-based health and behavioral health providers,
