The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) and the global law firm of Jones Day are going to co-host the second “Annual ATA Telemedicine Venture Summit” on Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Baltimore Maryland.
Held in conjunction with the ATA 2014 Annual Meeting and Trade Show May 18-20, the Summit will provide training along with structured networking and match-making opportunities to encourage collaboration between telemedicine, telehealth, and mHealth emerging companies plus with other established venture investors.
In addition, the event will include an afternoon of educational panels covering trends in the industry, lessons learned from venture and strategic partners, and examine some of the critical policy considerations facing the industry.
ATA and Jones Day are seeking applications from companies, investors, strategic partners, and advisors interested in participating in the Summit. The ATA 2014 Telemedicine Venture Fair will feature a morning of lessons from mentors and practice pitches from up-and-coming companies to warm up for the afternoon. During the afternoon, there will be a custom networking period, where companies and investors will be matched based on interests to provide one-on-one time to connect. There will also be several panels of investors and experts to provide education and guidance to participants as well as non-applicant general attendees.
