On December 26, 2013, HRSA issued the notice “Telehealth Resource Center Grant Program (HRSA-14-079) to establish and develop Telehealth Resource Centers (TRC). The TRCs provide technical assistance to healthcare organizations, healthcare networks, and healthcare providers to help implement cost-effective telehealth programs to serve rural and medically underserved areas and populations.
The estimated total program funding is $650,000, with an award ceiling of $325,000, with two awards expected. Eligible applicants can include Native American tribal governments, Native American tribal organizations, and nonprofits. Also eligible are faith-based, community-based, and tribal nonprofit organizations.
