Sprint & Techstars Launch Accelerator

Sprint is seeking an elite group of entrepreneurs with big ideas to improve healthcare using mobile technology. Sprint is investing in the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator initiative to provide an opportunity for Sprint to get closer to the entrepreneurs and emerging technologies in mobile health at a critically important time.

Sprint wants to work with startups to help bring the spirit of innovation back into the company as new products and services are developed in this fiercely competitive industry. For this project, early stage mobile technology companies will be selected to move to Kansas City and will work at the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator powered by Techstars a mentorship-driven seed stage investment program.

The Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator will help entrepreneurs strengthen their businesses by allowing entrepreneurs to talk to leading technology experts from Sprint, top technology companies, and be able to pitch their ideas to angel investors, and venture capitalists.

Leaders of early-stage mobile technology companies from the U.S. and from the rest of the world can now apply to be in the inaugural class with applications being accepted through January 6, 2014. Finalists will be notified later in January with the three month program slated to begin March 2014. The start-ups will receive up to $120.000 in funding.
