DHA Awards $1.4 Billion

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) https://www.health.mil has awarded Edera L3C https://www.edera.com a prime contract award under the Program Executive Office Defense Healthcare Management Systems (PEO DHMS), which is a $1.4 billion Workforce 3.0 contract expected to be completed January 2028.  

Workforce 3.0 is designed to enable DHA to develop innovative processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies to enable the PEO DHMS workforce to deliver world class care. The goal is to bring world class technology, enhanced patient and employee experience, continuous improvement, and accelerated HIT adoption, to support DHA’s workforce of nearly 140,000 and 9.6 million healthcare system beneficiaries.

For each client and project, Edera forms customized multidisciplinary teams. The teams deliver integrated solutions such as new clinical care models, healthcare quality, patient and clinician experience, digital health, technology adoption, applied innovation, human-centered design, strategic communications, and change management.

Edera has named initial partner organizations to the team. The team includes Yale New Haven Health Services Corporation (YNHHS) Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (COPE), Center for Medical Interoperability, NTT DATA: Tank Design, and The Loop Company.
